  The British pianist Stephen Ridley, whose motto is “play the piano like you were playing rock-guitar”, will give a solo performance at Moscow House of Music on 28 October.

  Born in the North of England, Stephen Ridley first took up the piano when he was six years old. In spite of their son’s obvious interest in music, his parents insisted on giving him an education focused on economics, and by the time he was 21 he was already working as a trader in the City of London.

  In October 2011 the future musician came to the realisation that he couldn’t work in an office anymore, and so, remembering his childhood, he went and bought a piano, which he started to play right on the street in the centre of London. A month later he had already released his first album, Butterfly in a Hurricane.

  A journalist from the British London Lifestyle Magazine has written that Ridley’s performance radically alters one’s perception of piano music: “His playing is raw and edgy, and as strange as it may seem, his music is utterly without airs and graces, but great live music shouldn’t be polished, it’s not for sale — instead it should awaken feelings, convey emotion and draw the audience in.”

  The concert was postponed from 12/04/2020 to 10/28/2021. All tickets purchased are valid according to the seats indicated on the tickets.

  To make the audience, artists and guests of the concert feel safe, it was decided to hold the event in the COVID Free format. This means that in order to enter, in addition to your ticket, you will need your passport and QR code.

  Die Musikband «Ruki vverh!» wurde erstmals 1995 bekannt. Mit ihren Hits «Baby» und «Student» machte sich die Band beim jungen Publikum einen Namen. Schnell wuchs die Popularität der Band und veröffentlichte ihr erstes Album «Breath Steady!» (1997), das die Top-Charts erreichte. Die Jugend der 90er Jahre erinnert sich noch immer an die besten und bekanntesten Stücke «My Little Baby», «Not Your Lips» und viele andere. Das romantische Lied «Dreaming of You, Only» erobert mit seiner ergreifenden Melodik immer noch die Herzen aller Liebenden.

  Die Band besteht aus den beiden Bandleadern Sergey Zhukov und Aleksey Potehin. In nur wenigen Jahren erhielt die beliebte Band eine große Anzahl von Musikpreisen. Dazu gehören Gold-, Platin- und Silberscheiben, die Auszeichnungen für einen bedeutenden Beitrag zum russischen Showbusiness, «The Golden Gramophone», «The Song of the Year», «Muz-TV Award» und viele andere.

  Im Jahr 2005 veröffentlichte die Band das letzte Album in der bekannten alten Besetzung: «Fuckin 'Rock'n'Roll». Ab 2006 tourte die Band mit Sergey Zhukov und dem Ballet-Show-Team Street Jazz. Im April 2018 fanden im Moskauer Olympiastadion zwei Jubiläumskonzerte statt « Ruki vverh! - Das Beste aus 20 Jahren! », die mehr als 60.000 Fans mobilisierten.

  Nach 20 Jahren on stage setzt die Band " Ruki vverh!" ihre Karriere erfolgreich fort, und wird nicht müde, gute Vibes und Tanzfieber nicht nur unter treuen Fans der 90er - Generation, sondern auch unter der heutigen Jugend zu verbreiten.
