The creative producers carefully conveyed the fascination of the fairy tale and, at the same time, introduced the spirit of a romantic mystery and genuine feelings into the show. This outstanding, magical performance would definitely engage both children and adults.The current production preserved the famous choreography by Vasily Vainonen featuring the dance of the dolls, Waltz of the Snowflakes, the Flower Waltz, and the Grand Pas de Deux performed by the main characters. By contrast, the first act has undergone a complete adaptation in a new version by Natalia Kasatkina and Vladimir Vasilyov. It includes the procession of the guests along the city streets blanketed with snow, merry turmoil under the Christmas-tree, young people running around and reserved joyance of the older generation.[/vc_text_img][vc_text_img text_img_config="image-text-var" text_background="text-background-dark" alignment_horizontal="left" alignment_vertical="top" image="345"]The Grand Moscow Classical State Ballet premiered its production of "The Nutcracker" while touring the US cities. Although every December the Americans can choose from about 150 different versions of the famous ballet, the media recognized the adaptation presented by Kasatkina’s and Vasilyov’s company among the best ones.

  Indem sie die Tradition des klassischen Ballettes mit modernen Ausdrucksformen und Elementen verbanden, schufen Natalia Kasatkina und Vladimir Vasilyov einen neuen, eigenen Tanzstil und erweckten die alten Klassiker zu neuem Leben.

  On March 19, the first tour of the famous Uzbek folk dance ensemble "Bahor" will take place on the magnificent stage of the Dubai Opera House.

  The tour of the State Dance Ensemble "Bahor" named after Mukarram Turgunbaeva is supported by the Art & Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The audience will see on the stage more than 20 dancers in gorgeous costumes, will enjoy the unique sound of authentic instruments, powerful voices of soloists, authenticity of folk tunes and energy of eastern rhythms!

  "Bahor" is a hallmark of Uzbekistan, its pride and national heritage, its culture and history narrated through the dance. The legendary dance troupe, created by world famous choreographer Mukarram Turgunbaeva, celebrates its 65th anniversary this year. The repertoire of the ensemble includes more than 200 solo and group pieces with expressive, almost theatrical dance plastique growing out of the centuries-old dancing tradition of the Uzbek people. The audience will witness a spectacular show performed by world-class dancers with a magnificent lighting and luxurious costumed dance pieces accompanied by live music. The kaleidoscope of colors and sounds in the presentation of the "Bahor" ensemble plunges the spectator into the mysterious and beautiful culture of the East, allowing one to enjoy the spectacular display of exquisite and colorful national costumes, hear the mesmerizing sound of ancient folk instruments and original folk tunes.

"Spring" - this is how the name of the "Bahor" ensemble is translated from the Uzbek.
