Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov come to Helsinki
Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov visit the “Helsinki Music Centre” (Helsingin musiikkitalo). The Austro-Russian soprano is the reigning Queen of Opera and the Prima Donna Assoluta of our time. Yusif Eyvazov is a tenor of ardent energy and an acknowledged specialist for his Italian repertoire. As a duo, singing at the most important opera houses and filling the biggest concert halls all over the world, they are acclaimed and admired by their fans.
One of the most spectacular concerts of the season
Anna and Yusif are the perfect couple, both in real life and on stage, where they share their passion for music. Their performances are marked by the most brilliant and passionate operatic singing of the moment. In Helsinki, they will present some of their favourite compositions from opera, international art song, Neapolitan song and operetta. Accompanied by renowned pianist and experienced accompanist, Pavel Nebolsin, they will guarantee a concert highlight and pay homage to love, one of the most inspiring subjects in history of music. A luxurious event that is going to surpass all expectations!
Excellent acoustics
The “Helsingin musiikkitalo” was inaugurated, in 2008, to complement the famous “Finlandia-talo” (Finlandia Talo Hall). While the unsophisticated exterior of the concert hall perfectly merges into the urban surroundings, the spectacular auditorium was inspired by Hans Scharoun's vineyard-style Berlin Philharmonie. Famous Japanese acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota, responsible for the sound concepts of the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, conceived the excellent acoustics of the “Musiikkitalo” that lead to an overwhelming response by the audience.
