Russian dancer Oleg Ivenko is a Principal of Tatar State Opera and Ballet Theatre (Kazan, Russia). He joined the Company as a Soloist in 2010, promoted to Principal in 2012.
Oleg Ivenko was born in Kharkov (Ukraine), trained at Kharkov Ballet School in 2006 joined Minsk Ballet College.
In 2016 he became a First Prize winner of the IX Korean International Ballet Competition (Seoul, South Korea). In 2014 he won Grand Prix of of Yuri Grigorovich "Young ballet" International Competition (Sochi, Russia) and First Prize of "Grand Prix of Siberia" International Ballet Competition (Krasnoyarsk, Russia). His awards include prizes at "TanzOlimp" Ballet Competition (Berlin, Germany, 2011), "Arabesque" International Ballet Competition (Perm, Russia, 2012) and others.
Oleg Ivenko's repertory includes Basilio ("Don Quixote"), Solor ("La Bayadere"), Count Albrecht ("Giselle"), Colas ("La Fille mal gardée"), Prince ("The Nutcracker"), Blue Bird ("Sleeping Beauty"), Mercutio ("Romeo and Juliet"), Ali ("Le Corsaire"), Franz ("Coppelia"), Pierre Gringoire, Acteon ("La Esmeralda") and others.
Oleg makes regular guest appearances with different Russian Ballet Companies.
In 2017 he made his debut at Ralph Fiennes's full-length film "White Crew" as a Rudolf Noureev.
